Mi amiga Blanca es una madre soltera de 33 años con tres hijos que siempre ha luchado por el bienestar de su familia y vino a este país para trabajar y poder cubrir las necesidades de sus hijas. Cuando supo que estaba esperando a su bebé varón, su corazón se llenó de esperanza y siguió trabajando para prepararse para su llegada.

Todo cambió cuando comenzó sus fuertes dolores de estómago y tuvo que ser hospitalizada. Tras múltiples estudios, Blanca recibió el devastador diagnóstico de cáncer linfoma agresivo. Solo pudo disfrutar de los primeros cuatro meses de vida de su bebé antes de que los tratamientos y hospitalizaciones la separaran de él. Desde entonces, han pasado 4 meses que ella le ha visto crecer a su hijo a través de videollamadas, perdiéndose momentos que ninguna madre debería tener que perder.

Además del desgaste físico, esta situación ha afectado la salud emocional y mental. El dolor de estar lejos de sus hijos, especialmente de su recién nacido, junto al saber que de su enfermedad no va poder proteger y ver a sus hijos crecer la ha llevado a una depresión que enfrenta con valentía cada día.

Blanca continúa luchando con una fortaleza admirable, pero la carga médica y económica ha sido frustrante. Por ello, pedimos humildemente su apoyo para ayudar a cubrir los gastos médicos y las necesidades básicas de su bebé y de sus dos hijas. My friend Blanca is a 33-year-old single mother of three who has always fought tirelessly for the well-being of her family. Strong and dedicated, she came to this country to work and provide for her daughters. When she learned she was expecting her baby boy, her heart was filled with hope, and she continued working to prepare for his arrival.

Everything changed when she began experiencing severe stomach pain and had to be hospitalized. After multiple tests, Blanca received the devastating diagnosis of aggressive lymphoma cancer. She was only able to enjoy the first four months of her baby’s life before treatments and hospital stays separated her from him. Since then, four months have passed during which she has watched her son as well as her daughters grow through video calls, missing moments no mother should ever have to miss.

In addition to the physical toll, this situation has deeply affected her emotional and mental health. The pain of being away from her children—especially her newborn—combined with not being able to protect and care for her kids has led her into depression.

Blanca continues to fight with admirable strength, but the medical and financial burden has been overwhelming.
