A few weeks ago we started to notice some changes in Juno’s behavior. Specifically having accidents inside. She is very well trained so we knew something was wrong.
Assuming she had a UTI we took her to see the vet for treatment. We were shocked to hear that they had found a tumor on her bladder.
Juno is the best girl ever and we plan to do everything possible to keep her comfortable and around for as long as we can.
Last week, Juno saw a specialist who gave us some good news. The tumor is in a location that will allow removal by surgery with low risk of damage to her bladder. We are still in the early stages and processing this one day at a time. Soon we will know more details about what to expect as far as long-term treatment options and how to make her remaining time with us the highest quality possible.
Unfortunately, all these tests and specialist bills are adding up. We’ve already dug into our savings and are now using credit cards to cover the costs.
We don’t know what to expect in the near future, but it’s clear that we’ll continue to have expenses as we proceed with surgery and treatment.
Juno is a big fluff ball of love. If you know her she’s likely made your day better with her goofy smile, big eyes, or how she flops down on the floor.
It’s never easy to ask, but Juno needs help. Nothing is expected, anything is appreciated.
Peace, Love, and Gratitude,
Angelica and Sam
