Juno's Recovery and Rehab
Donation protected

Hello! My name is Natasha, I am the owner of my energetic, outgoing, caring, and loving 3 year old puppy dog Juno. My boyfriend of five years has been home on military leave, so we have been bringing Juno everywhere we have gone. On Easter of 2017, on our way back home after a family Easter brunch, we lost control of the truck and hit a bunch of trees ending in a head on collision with a decent sized tree. Totaling the truck and getting beat up pretty well. Juno, however, got the worst of it between the three of us. By the time we got her to a veterinarian, they suggested putting her down. We decided to take her to a animal neurologist to get a second opinion. The neurologist, Dr. Adam Moeser in Commerce township, ended up diagnosing her with acute rear limb paralysis. We have been told that she has major bruising in her spine which is taking away her ability to walk. We were told that it would take at least three months of weekly rehab classes, along with at home therapy. Between her having to get a MRI, radiographs, testings, fluids, medications, hospitalization, over night and emergency fees has easily added up to $4,000. It will be between $150-200 every week for her rehabiliation classes, equalling out to around $2500 for three months. With my boyfriend being away in the military and me beginning DH school in June, Juno's expenses are becoming a real struggle for us. It breaks my heart to see where she is as her mom and it brings serious guilt to both my boyfriend and I. With all of the love and personal dog therapy she has provided me, my heart hurts to think about not being able to provide her back after everything that has happened to her. We are not asking for a lot of donations, in fact we don't really know how well this fund raiser will go, but at this point any little bit is a huge help when it comes to her veterinary bills. All I want is to be able to watch her chase a ball across my yard and run back to me just like she would before the accident but it is very expensive to get her the help she needs. I am so grateful for all the help that I am able to receieve and I know Juno is too. Help me bring my baby girl back up on her feet.
