Juno Needs Hearing Aids (You Can Help If You Want)

Hi! I am Juno and I can’t hear good :)

To keep it short, I have genetic hearing loss and was prescribed hearing aids. They are really expensive, and no insurance covers them. I was initially going to get funding through vocational rehab, but all of their funding was cut due to federal budget cuts (booo!!!!)

I need hearing aids to do my job. I help vulnerable community members get on government assistance programs like SNAP and Medicaid. I need to be able to listen to and interact with clients. I need to be able to hear their interpreters so I can help bridge language barriers.

I also just need hearing aids for my personal life. I have social anxiety caused by not being able to hear or understand others around me. I miss being able to live life to the fullest.

I hate to be cringe and ask for money on the internet but this has me in tears most nights at this point.
