Help Junnie get surgery

Update: Good news finally! Thank you to all the people that have contributed and have helped by reaching out and offering advice on alternative vets offices and types surgeries. I took the advice of several people who have had dogs with similar injurues and took June to langley animal hospital, where they have a surgeon on staff. He recommended A different kind of surgery, which is less invasive and also cheaper. It's called lateral suture surgery and will run around 5k This is huge as it's less than half of the original quote and way more achievable. I am still reliant on the kindness of those who have donated and hope that you'll continue to donate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi there,

I am reaching out for help for my beloved dog June. She is not just a pet, but my best friend and companion. I rescued her from a difficult past in Mexico where she was badly abused and abandoned after having puppies. Originally, I had planned to find her another loving home in Canada when we returned from Mexico. However, I couldn't bear to part with her and she quickly became my best friend.

Recently, she suffered a severe injury tearing ligaments in both of her knees rendering her unable to walk. The vet has recommended emergency TPLO surgery to help her recover and lead a pain-free life again. As much as I want to provide her with the care she needs, the financial burden is more than I can handle alone they are estimating the surgeries would be around 11k to repair both of her knees.
