Juniper Acres Snow Relief Fund
Donation protected
Juniper Acres is a small off-grid community east of Alfalfa in Crook County. They have been hit hard with heavy snowfall and high winds which has caused deep drifts of snow up to 7 feet tall in some areas. Residents are stranded and running out of supplies with no way to get out of their houses except by snow mobile. Volunteers are helping to clear roads with backhoes and people's donated time as well as shuttling supplies to those in need via snowmobile. We need help to rent heavy equipment to clear and keep the roads cleared so residents can get out in these extreme conditions to get supplies. Cash donations are also being accepted at the Alfalfa Store at 26161 Willard Rd, Bend OR. We are also accepting donations for the following: fuel, empty gas cans, propane, empty propane tanks, firewood, livestock feed, food, water and large jugs to fill with water. If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated by these residents. These are good people with limited resources who are willing to pay for their supplies with what they but are unable to get out of their homes. Thank you!
