Juniper Ridge Vineyard Expansion

We are Juniper Ridge Vineyard, between Monticello and St. Cloud, MN. We grow cold-hardy and disease-resistant wine grapes (Marquette, Itasca and La Crescent) created by the wine grape breeding program at The U of MN.

Four and five years ago, we planted our first 225 grape vines. We have learned a lot about growing grapes to turn out quality wines. We have good quality grapes this growing season and have decided that we are ready to expand the vineyard! We aim to add 4 acres to our vineyard with the dream of having a farm winery in the next five years.

The land we will be expanding into requires brush clearing, trees (invasive and undesirable) excavated, moldboard plowing and final prepping by this fall for spring planting. We need to hire a team of Professional Land Clearers to do this work because it requires some land clearing equipment for which we don't possess the skills to use.

Minnesota is a great place to have a vineyard. However, Minnesota Vineyards are better when they have friends like you! So please help us expand our vineyard and advance the exposure of the terrific grapes grown in Minnesota that can make a truly great wine in the hands of a knowledgeable vintner.
