I've created this GoFundMe on behalf of our dear friend Alexis, and her sweet canine companion, Juniper. 

Earlier this week Juniper started to show signs of stomach upset which quickly became a late night trip to the emergency vet hospital.  Luckily they got there in time, because once in emergency Juniper’s intestines hemorrhaged.   Because she was passing blood and vomiting uncontrollably, she had to undergo a series of very expensive tests, including X-rays, blood-work and CT scans.  Thankfully the CT scan showed no obstructions and she avoided surgery.  Juniper has currently been diagnosed with gastroenteritis, but until further test results come in next week, the cause of her gastroenteritis is still unknown.

As fellow animal lovers, we all know how stressful and costly a regular vet can be, let alone emergency vets. An unexpected financial hit to one of our furry friends can end up setting us back for months. Anything you are able to contribute, no matter how small, will go directly to Juniper's vet bills, which so far are as follows:

$3590 : initial vet visit, X-rays , 48 hour stay, diagnostics, meds administered in house, take home meds CT scan, and beyond, with follow up visits to come.
