The Junior Jitterbugs

I am sure you all know the story of what happened with World Lindy Hop Day. It's a sad and confusing one for sure. Well, over a year ago, two of The Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs and myself were invited to be a part of the event. The Juniors; Cyle Dixon and Alexis Davila, were going to perform and teach.
The agreement reached was that the flights for myself and The Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs would be reimbursed, as well as normal teaching incidentals such as rooms and food. As part of this agreement, I purchased the flights in anticipation of being reimbursed within a few days, and was told that a wire transfer would take place.
The flights were slightly more expensive than normal due to the late date on which they were purchased - which was when the reimbursement agreement was made.
Fortunately, the airline allowed us to receive a credit for a future flight, but those credits are tied to each individual.
I am seeking your help in finding the funding to allow The Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs to still attend a European event and to help offset the significant costs that I incurred for the flights based on the unfulfilled agreements mentioned above.
We are hoping to raise enough to cover the initial flight purchase and any additional funding will help cover other costs for The Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs.
Other organizations have pitched in to help, such as the Youth Program of the Frankie Manning Foundation, which is covering the flight change fees, and Herrang which is offering 50% discounted registrations for the Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs and the Frankie Manning Foundation is covering the other 50%. The Frankie Manning Foundation Youth Program is also taking care of the cost of meals at Herrang.
Please help us keep those promises to the young adults that have worked so hard and are the next generation of swing dancers.
