Hi, my name is Isabelle Strouse and I am a gifted and talented student. I have been nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) in Washington, DC.

This opportunity will be the first step on a path to success in high school, college, and future career. I will learn to become a better leader by learning to set clear goals, improving communication skills, embracing models for solving complex problems, and building effective teams. I will be part of the Voices of Change project where I will create an action-oriented organization to create positive change at school and in my community. 

I will be flying to Washington, DC in August of 2017 where I will spend a week. I hope to reach my goal of raising $2500.00 by July 23, 2017. This will cover the cost of my trip and round trip plane ticket. 

This is a wonderful and amazing opportunity to improve my skills. I love helping others and feel bound for leadership.  I am on the student council where I have a voice for change in my school, I play the violin and have earned solos and help teach others, and I tutor other children in my class with reading and math. I am so thankful for this opportunity and would appreciate your help in attaining this goal by a monetary donation to help fund my trip.
