We, the parents, just found out that the government funding for the Junior World Games is not going to be available in time for the event in Peru, December 5th - December 15th.

This 10-day competition is super important for all 10 athletes who have been selected, based on their ranking, to represent Costa Rica in a super important international event. We appreciate any donations you can give. We also have sponsorship opportunities for companies to partner with the Federation in support of these amazing young athletes.

We want to invite you to be part of a dream: seeing our kids proudly represent our country at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, which will take place on December 5, 2025.

Every sunrise on the beach, every wave conquered, and every training session has prepared them for this big moment. But now, just weeks away from the event, we need to come together so they can make it to the competition and lift Costa Rica’s name high. ✨

The Surf Federation is currently in the process of resolving a financial settlement which is still under review by ICODER. Because of this — and with the event fast approaching — we, the parents, federation members, and surfing community, have decided to take action together by creating a GoFundMe and other Sponsorship Opportunities.

Every contribution, no matter the size, is a wave of hope that pushes these young surfers toward the ocean that raised them — and toward the world championship they’ve worked so hard for.

If you can’t contribute financially, you can still help by sharing this campaign, so more people and companies can learn about our cause and join this powerful wave of support.

The funds raised will cover all expenses for the 10 Athletes, plus 2 delegates and a coach to go to Peru and participate with other nations in the ISA (Internationa Surf Association) World Games. Everything is included, flights, uniforms, transportation, lodging, food, inscriptions, and insurance.
