For the past 6 years, Ive been captured by the sport of Outrigger Canoeing. I was originally introduced too the water by my father, who taught me the basics and pushed me to keep going out. Eventually, I found a love for outrigger and decided that this is what I wanted to do. I started putting a lot of time into it, early mornings and cold nights. I took practicing extremely seriously.

This past march, an opportunity arose, a tryout for the Junior Nationals Team USA. The selected team would go to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and race against other countries junior teams. I went down to La to tryout, and the hard-work paid off, I made the team!
