Junior National Young Leaders Conference in D.C.

Hi, my name is August Shadle and I am in the 5th grade at Idaho Arts Charter School. I was nominated to represent my school and community at the Junior National Young Leaders Conference, an Envision by WorldStrides program to be held this summer, in Washington D.C.. The JrNYLC is held to honor and inspire exceptional middle school students, distinguished by their academic excellence, leadership potential, and maturity. This will be a powerful experience, enabling me to interact with respected professionals in various fields while building relationships with students from around the country, who will be my future colleagues. Tuition for the conference plus my travel costs will be more than $4,000. I have been working hard for friends and family members, when not in school to earn money for this conference and will be using my savings to help pay for it as well.
