Junior Elite divers need your support

Hi , I'm Margaret, a parent fundraising for this team of 8 Elite level divers to compete at British Elite Junior Diving Championships 11th -14th April 2024.

This is a very significant event where the country's leading junior divers meet to compete. For some it is their first Elite competition and others will be aspiring to qualify for European and World events.

The divers, together with their coaches and a group of parents need to travel to Birmingham three days before the competition commences. This allows for adequate training , adjusting to the pool , diving boards, and their environment to maximise their competition performance.

Diving has a relatively low profile but is an extremely skilled and high risk sport. It demands natural talent , commitment with many hours of training as well as both physical & mental stamina and resilience.

These young athletes age 12 -18 consistently display these attributes.

We would like to invite you to champion their immense collective talent and success to date and join the club in supporting them on this next important milestone competition.

Your messages of support and donations are hugely appreciated. All funds will go towards costs of the trip ; travel, accommodation, food and competition fees.

The divers themselves are already working hard in preparation up to 16 and 20 hours per week. I am confident this wider community support will be a huge morale boost for them embarking on this very important competition. They are incredibly grateful for all your support and encouragement.
