David and I are so happy that you are here on this page and we want to thank you in advance for supporting us on our journey — both as husband and wife, and on the honeymoon of our dreams.

JUNIE AND DAVID'S LOVE STORY

 

One very magical, mystical, and extraordinary meeting of a man and a woman whose lives intersected many times in many cities several times over the decades, and finally, when we were both 70, we finally met, and quickly knew this was no chance meeting.

 

We also knew that had we met earlier — in any of the other cities where we both resided at the same time — we would not have been ready to experience love in the same way.

 

First, we needed to go through our own journeys of love and loss, do the deep inner work required to heal in order to come out the other side as the best expressions of ourselves so far.

 

Having succeeded at this, we are now bringing the best of ourselves to our relationship and out to the world in the best ways possible through the high vibration of light and love we embrace and the missions we serve.  

 

David’s and my relationship is built on a bedrock of joy, kindness and gratitude. We dance in the kitchen a lot (!) and call each other the Lord and Lady of Kindness. What a stupendous coincidence (if you believe in coincidences) that we have both lived by the motto, “My Religion is Loving Kindness”. We both also live by the motto that "All Is Well" and are truly grateful for everything. The pain and the joys, knowing each has contributed to our souls' evolution and growth. We simply fit like hand and glove.

 

David and I met at a music party at the end of October 2019. It was a dress-up Halloween party. As we later learned, neither of us felt all that inspired to go to that night but somehow found ourselves dressing up for the occasion. David donned a cowboy hat and heart glasses. Me — I wore all black except for my shocking pink flamingo glasses.      

The party was divine. Lots of great music.  I danced all night except for the times I was in the kitchen eating, conversing with new and old friends. Meanwhile, David was playing his conga drums. Up to this point, we had not formally met.  The party was starting to thin out and I was shocked to learn it was 1:30 in the morning! I'm usually in bed by 10! 

 

I said some good-byes, put on my winter coat, and walked out the door.

Walking up the steps was David, and we met face to face.

 

“Hello,” he said. “You’re not leaving are you?” He seemed genuinely surprised, as if the night were young.

 

“Yes, I am.”

 

“My name is David,” he beamed over a big, genuine smile and extended his hand.

 

“Hello, David. I’m Junie.”

 

“What do you do, Junie?”

 

To me that is the most absurd question in the world so I answered:

 

“What do I do about what, David?”

 

He looked directly into my eyes and said, “About everything, Junie. About everything.”

 

Well, when I semi-recovered from that . . . I said, feigning composure, “Oh, well . . . that could take a while, but if you walk me to my car, I’ll tell you some things, I guess.” 

A week later I was having a party and invited David. That was it for both of us.  We found out how well suited we are in so many wonderful ways and the rest, they say, is history!  

We are beyond thrilled that you will be there to celebrate our wedding with us on September 18th, 2022.  Can't wait to see you then!
