Jungle Clean Up 2022 THE COVID COMEBACK!

Our business community has traditionally funded our community "Jungle Clean Up" for over 4 decades. Their generosity provided us custom tee's for all, an extravagant lunch for 100's, refreshments, kegs of beer, a live band and a street party to celebrate our hard days work cleaning our streets, walkways, alleys, properties, our beach and giving the Jungle it's annual facelift!

Unfortunately, our local businesses have suffered tremendously with the pandemic. Several could not endure the hit. We lost our beloved Tripel, ASAP, Good Morning Vietnam, Knockout, Playa Gift Shop, Selbert Perkins Design and Custom Wealth.

This year, we strive to bring this community together and fund our own Clean Up. Please consider a minimum donation of $25 per person and join us on Saturday, September 17th, to give THE JUNGLE it's annual facelift! If we can raise the cost of the event, we can promise you 5 40yard dumpsters, a street sweeper, shovels, brooms, rakes, shears, trash bags, clothing & books donation drops, morning coffee & donuts, afternoon lunch and a street party to reunite our neighbors and celebrate our efforts.

Let's give the JUNGLE CLEAN UP the love and attention it desperately needs. Pass this along to your landlords, roommates and neighbors.

Friends of the Jungle is a non-profit committed to keeping our neighborhood and local businesses informed on issues impacting our community. We work closely with the City, County, Beaches and Harbor, CD11 and LAPD Pacific Division.
