Juneteenth Jamz: 5 year anniversary festival!!

Hello! My name is Burnie Mac, and I am a Drag King living in Detroit Michigan, and I am raising money for the 5 year anniversary of Juneteenth Jamz!

Juneteenth Jamz is a love letter to Black Queer Magic, to art as liberation, to Black queer joy.

Juneteenth Jamz is a Space for us, by us, where Black Queer artists are prioritized and celebrated without apology, where we don't have to fight to take up space.

The proceeds from the fundraiser goes right back to the artists and performers who participate in this festival. The funds raised will contribute to any of the following:

-act compensation

-travel stipends for out of state performers

-artist housing during the event

-snacks and drinks for performers during backstage set up

-any staffing needed such as stage kittens

-advertisements such as sponsored ads and IRL flyers

We will also be collaborating and helping raise funds with Ypsilanti Black Pride!
