*UPDATE* from Junee Aloha everyone. This is Junee. I lay in this hospital bed and am humbled, honored, embarrassed at this situation, and I am so very thankful for all of you. First, I want to say how hard it was for me to agree to let Sharon and Shelly set you this GoFundMe for me. I am very humbled and very appreciative of the donations, the positive messages that I have received, the shout outs to God and the universe on my behalf are awesome- keep those coming, please. I have now been off work for a month. The doctors in Kona were stumped. There are tests that they can’t do there. I am now on Oahu where I have been treated both out patient and now in a private clinic, and these doctors have come up with some definitive answers. Finally. I’d prefer not to share all of the details here, but I can tell you that it is my heart that is their biggest concern, with a weird disease seconding their interest.They all agree that I need to be off work for at least two months to heal. I do not see how I can do that with no income when I don’t work. I am, quite frankly, scared of losing my ohana and my vehicle. I don’t have a fall back plan. My portion of the medical bills are astounding. I am worried about rent and my car payment. I am not worried about food. There are so many papaya, avocado, mango, Dragonfruit, and a plethora of other fruits and vegetables growing wild and free for the taking, and homeowners from my work delivering home cooked meals, that I assure you I will not go hungry. I thank each and every one of you for your kind donations. I am truly in need, and I cannot tell you how much your generous donations mean to me. I know that things are tight financially for a lot of you. The messages that I have received from you- the encouragement, good vibes, and prayers, mean as much to me as the financial help, I assure you. Please keep those coming. I will begin my recovery the rest of this week at a friend’s condo here on Oahu. They take very good care of me. Please pray for healing. Again, my most heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. I am so very thankful for each and every one of you just taking time to read this- and I apologize if I have rambled...these meds have me all wackerjawed Humbled and Honored, Junee Our friend Junee has found herself in a very tough situation due to what started as an injury but has attacked her body from the inside out, and has no one to help her out. She has been off work and in the hospital for quite some time. Her medical bills at this point are very high. She is in the hospital for an unknown amount of time and she has no way to pay rent, insurance, or other necessities because if she doesn’t work, she makes no money. No money, no rent- food- car. As many of you know, Junee is always there for anyone who needs her help. She would give her last shirt off her back if she was asked for it. We can’t help Junee medically, but if we can help her financially, it will remove a huge burden. Can we all pull together to help Junee get over this hurdle she’s found herself in?
