Hello everybody! We are fundraising for our final year film at UWE!

What is the film about?

June & Gina follows the story of an unlikely friendship that forms between an elderly woman, June, and her late husband's former carer Gina. After her husband's death, June invites Gina to live in her home. While June grieves, Gina unintentionally intrudes on this grieving process due to differences in age and culture, causing tensions to arise between them. As time passes they gradually overcome their differences, finding a deep connection through their shared admiration of June’s husband.

I'm Ruby the producer of 'June & Gina' and the rest of the brilliant crew consists of Sam Sterland as writer/director, Daniel Marriott as Production manager and 1st Assistant Director, Huzair Mustafa as Director of Photography, Louis Cooper as Editor, Louis De Schynkel as Sound designer, Vasil Hristov as Assistant Camera and Gaffer, Kai Kennedy as Production designer and Alex Nicklin as co-writer!

We are super excited to be making such a beautiful film, especially for our final uni piece but unfortunately, we cannot fund it all ourselves, any donations will go towards renting locations, paying actors, sourcing props/costumes and travel expenses!

Any donation, no matter what size, would be greatly appreciated by the entire crew and will go a long way and be put to good use!
