Junction 80 is a groundbreaking dance movement and festival amplifying Northern California's diverse dance culture. It serves as a nexus for individual artists, teams, and community spaces while spotlighting foundational street styles. With a focus on youth empowerment, it offers workshops, labs, and wellness sessions, fostering personal connections among dancers. This initiative not only unites Bay Area dance communities but also elevates Northern California's global creative presence. Participating dancers represent a wide array of community groups, projects, studios, and dance styles, with the venue hosting all-day programming, including wellness workshops for talent.

Junction 80 aims to establish a benchmark of production quality that dancers can rely on while providing a space for long-term connections and partnerships, nurturing the community's growth and vitality.

In addition to creating spaces and events for opportunity and growth, one of the main goals of Junction 80 is to highlight the various offerings in the Northern California dance scene via an online archive of resources including things like:

ABOUT THE PRODUCERS:

1up Crew: 1Up Crew seeks to build the Northern California dance community by bridging the gap between freestyle and choreography through event planning, providing opportunities for performing artists, using media to capture events from an artist’s perspective, and providing streetwear for comfortability and style.

DAM Events: Since 2010, DAM Events has provided developing artists the opportunities they need to strengthen and showcase their talent. DAM Events showcases a broad range of new and under-represented Bay Area talent as well as well established talent, providing them with connections, resources, and opportunities to continue developing and sharing their craft.
