Junae Brown

Hi everyone my name is Junae Brown and for the past 6 1/2 years I’ve built an impactful marketing company called Browned 2 Perfection that helps great brands and people with meaningful ideas come to life. We exclusively employ Black & Brown people, primarily women who are some of the greatest minds around. As of now I am an entrepreneur who’s been hit with unforeseen circumstances in the midst of running my business.

Unfortunately,

I was scammed by a former client for over 5 figures in income and this incident has not only affected my business but my lively hood as well. Aside from multiple business accounts now being frozen and under review these past few months, struggling to pay my amazing staff and keep the business running to serve current and incoming clients, any other lucrative projects are now on hold including expenses that are now overdue.

I never imagined having to do something like this, as anyone who knows me knows that I am very private and will also go without to make it work and just figure things out. But I’ve exhausted all other resources, savings, etc. I also do feel that if nothing else maybe this helps someone else feel a little less alone or even to know that if this happened to you, you’re not the only person this can happen to. Business owners particularly Black and women-owned, are often subject to greasy business practices and take advantage of unfortunately by the very people we seek to service and help. There's little that we can do other than spend even more money and time to try and let the Justice system do its thing. This isn’t the first time this has occurred but it has been the most inconvenient, causing immediate damage. Sincerely, THANK YOU for anything you can contribute or any positive energy sent my way.
