Jumping Out a Plane for a Purpose

Hey everyone, I’m James — and this November, I’ll be skydiving in Australia… from 15,000 feet.
But I’m not just doing it for the adrenaline — I’m doing it to raise money for The National Autistic Society, a charity that means a lot to me personally.
Why I’m Doing This
As someone with autism, I know first-hand how valuable the right support and understanding can be. I’ve even taken part in groundbreaking medical research to help better understand how autism affects the brain.
The study explored how the balance of brain chemicals — glutamate and GABA — may function differently in autistic people. Through MRI scans and trial medication (AZD7325), I helped researchers understand how the GABA system behaves during rest and stimulation. That research taught me a lot — and made me realise how far we’ve come, and how far we still need to go.
The National Autistic Society plays a vital role in that journey — raising awareness, challenging stereotypes, and offering real support to autistic people and families across the UK.
Where Your Money Goes
Every penny raised will go directly to The National Autistic Society to support their ongoing work — from frontline services to campaigns for acceptance and rights.
I’m personally covering the full cost of the skydive — so your donations go 100% to the cause.
When & Where
This skydive will take place in Australia between November 4–18, 2025. I’ll be filming the entire experience (yes, even the moment I scream mid-air ) and posting updates as I go.
