This year, I have the incredible opportunity to take part in something bigger than myself—participating in a historic static line parachute jump into Normandy on D-Day with the nonprofit, Fox Force. Our mission is to empower women by leveraging our unique experiences from military, law enforcement, and first responder backgrounds. We seek to provide mentorship that fosters strength, resilience, and personal growth.

Near the beaches of Normandy on the 82nd anniversary of D-Day I’ll be stepping out of an aircraft and into history following in the footsteps of the paratroopers who jumped into Normandy during World War II. This isn’t just a jump. It’s a tribute. It’s a way to remember the courage, and sacrifice that shaped our world.

I’ve always admired my brothers and sisters in the airborne division so having this opportunity has meant the world to me! If you know me, you know I love adventures and so this seems surreal to get to have this experience of honoring those brave men and women in such an epic way and in such a beautiful country. I’ve already fallen in love with parachuting and hope to share my new found passion with others so that they can also experience the thrill of falling out of the sky!

I’m raising $7,000 to support this mission and cover the associated costs of participating in this incredible event. Every dollar goes toward making this tribute possible and supporting the nonprofit behind it.
