July Senegal Trip

My goal of this page is to raise enough money so I can go with my dad to Senegal this summer. He is organizing an agricultural conference in rural Senegal. There, I will get to spend time with local farmers, experience Senegalese food and culture, learn about sustainable farming techniques in the Sahel region of Africa, and visit a Christian farming project near M'bour, Senegal, called Beersheba. I am very excited to be given these opportunities for an experience of a lifetime.
The plane ticket to get to Senegal costs more than $2,000, so I'm working to raise this money to make this trip possible, through donations, or I will also do odd jobs to raise funds as well. The trip is July 6th through July 13th. After I get back, I'll be happy to share photos and stories about my experience with you. I'd appreciate any amount given to help me get there.
