July 4th Show for Veteran's Nursing Home
Donation protected
In the spring and summer of 2020, Pennsylvania Army and Air National Guard members were stationed in civilian and veteran nursing homes across the state to combat COVID-19. At one Veterans-only nursing home, I was the medical officer-in-charge. So I decided to put on a small July 4th show for the residents and service members to boost morale.
It was such a success that the facility asked me to do it again in 2021. So several volunteers and I threw a bigger show, mainly using our funds and donations from friends.
Now here we are in 2022, and life is returning to normal. Of course, there will be 4th of July shows across the country. Still, I made it my mission that these deserving residents, many of whom can't leave the facility due to age and infirmity, will not be left out.
Help me defray the costs of putting on a private show for the residents, staff, and immediate family. Every penny will help us put on another great show and bring some joy to our deserving veterans.
I appreciate your consideration.
