July 4th Shooting: Grandfather shot on lawn chair

On July 4th after a celebrating with a few little fireworks, in my Grandmothers front yard my father was shot 3 times from a neighbor that led to his death and another friend that was in the yard was shot twice but survived after surgery. Their was 3 other adults including myself in the yard and my 8 year old daughter (Jerry's granddaughter) that thankfully didn't get hurt. The shooter let off 13 rounds into the yard. After Jerry Schuchmann (my dad) was shot and ambulances arrived, the shooter had already fled in his car and they took my dad to the hospital. He went under 2 surgeries and before the 3rd surgery his heart stopped, he was brought back and within the next hour his heart stopped again and they could not bring him back. My daughter had to witness this tragedy and the rest of us. The shooter did arrive back to the scene after being advised by police on the phone and he is being charged with Murder in 2nd degree. My dad was only 63 years old and got his life taken away from the tragedy of gun violence. A night that could have ended like any other unfortunately because of someone who shouldn't of had a weapon, A father, grandfather, son and brother was lost. My dad was on disability and didn't have a savings. We are asking for any support to help with costs to give him even just a Simple day to spend in memory of him, other costs such as moving his property, paying fees to move his trailor and support for his 8 year old granddaughter who was in the line of fire that may need counseling or even a little trip to the ocean for her that I can be able to take her as I have lost wages, to get away from the scene which is where we live. This was in the News Tribune twice and happened in a quiet neighborhood in south tacoma on wapato street. Thanks for taking the time to read and anything is truly appreciated.
