Hello, my name is Jade and I'm a friend and colleague of the Polgar family.

Many in our community know that Jenn, Jonathan, and Jenevieve Polgar recently lost their dear son and brother, Julius, only 15 years old, to suicide. The community came together in a beautiful way to emotionally support them in their time of grief.

Because of this tragedy, the parents had to take time off from work. Additionally, there are expenses for the ambulance, the hospital, and the funeral home.

The beautiful work of the death doula in the days following Julius' death allowed us to come together as a community to help shoulder the pain for the Polgars. It is my belief also that it was gift to each of us - as we ponder the fragility and preciousness of life and our love for one another.
