Help the Jensen family

Juli Jensen is no stranger to sickness, and is as strong as they come! Asking for help doesn't come easy, but this mom of 4 needs our help now more than ever! Among her other medical issues, Juli has battled Rheumatoid Arthritis for the last 13 years.

Recently her RA has advanced to her lungs. This means she needs oxygen through the night as well as for leaving the house and often needs it to get through the day as well. Along with the oxygen, Juli now needs to be using a walker and a special bed since getting in and out of her bed can be difficult. These all come at a cost which disability doesn't fully cover. Juli has started chemo therapy to help battle her disease and is on immunosuppresants to help slow the progression. These are not something to be taken lightly as she is now immunocompromised and something like pnemonia or covid could be very dangerous or fatal for her.

You can imagine that with her health and these extra factors working isn't a possibility. Not only is it not safe as any small bug could potentially be catastrophic, but having a job is physically impossible for her to do most days. Juli is largely bed bound and even the smallest exertion can be exhausting.

Along with Juli not being able to work she also needs around the clock care. Jeff has been taking on that role which ultimately caused him to lose his job and makes it difficult to find work he can do remotely and be able to be there to help Juli and the family. Juli's doctors appointments, trips to the pharmacy as well as raising a family are all very time consumming and Jeff has been such an amazing care giver through it all.

Any support the Jensens receive will go to help ease the burden of the ever growing medical bills, including medicine, doctor's fees, equipment for Juli's care, and any other cost of living they need to manage while going through this journey.

Juli's health affects more than just not being able to work. The toll this has been on the whole family is more than anyone should have to bare. With 4 kids (10,8 and 6 yr old twins) things are beyond tight financially. Watching a parent be sick and the stress that puts on the kids makes it hard to just be a kid! Having a chronically ill parent is something the Jensen kids have always known and they have adapted, but taking some of the stress off would help immensely!

The Jensens are no stranger to sickness and have had their fair share of health crisis through the years. Through a cancer diagnosis for Jeff, a coma due to septic pnemonia and another ICU stay due to Covid for Juli they have managed to survive each of those trials. But the pressure they are currently dealing with just trying to survive has become too much to bear alone.
