It is with the greatest sadness and broken hearts we are starting this memorial fund in honor of the Montenegro Reyes family.
Our beloved Julio passed away on August 14th. Julio was a wonderful husband, father, son, uncle, friend, and teacher who was adored by not only family but everyone around him.
Julio had a dream of giving his family a better life. He wanted to give them opportunities and with that came great sacrifices for all of them. Recently he and his sons bought a house for when Lila could join them.
Julio and Lila were finally reunited after years of hardships and sacrifices. He dreamed of having his family all together and that was realized this past summer. Unfortunately, there wasn’t more time together and with that no time to establish themselves with stability.
We would love to raise money for Lila in order to lift the burden of unprecedented expenses that might rise up, interim living expenses, and anything they might need at this time of heartache and loss.
A celebration of life for Julio will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 18 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360.

Con la mayor tristeza y pesar en el corazón comenzamos este fondo en apoyo a la familia Montenegro Reyes.
Nuestro querido Julio falleció el 14 de Agosto. Julio era un esposo, padre, hijo, hermano, tío, amigo y maestro maravilloso que no solo era querido y admirado por su familia sino por todos los que lo rodeaban.
Julio tenía el sueño de darle a su familia una vida mejor. Quería darles oportunidades y con eso vinieron grandes sacrificios para todos. Recientemente, él y sus hijos compraron una casa para cuando Lila pudiera unirse a ellos.
Julio y Lila finalmente se reunieron después de años de esfuerzo y sacrificio. Soñaba con tener a toda su familia reunida y eso finalmente sucedió este verano.
Desafortunadamente, no hubo más tiempo juntos y con eso no hubo tiempo para establecerse con estabilidad.
Nos encantaría recaudar un fondo para Lila con el fin de aliviar la carga de gastos y necesidades que podrían surgir por esta situación totalmente inesperada, llena de dolor y pérdida.
