Friends, family & all those who are out there reading this. My name is Luisa Hurtado, I recently lost my grandfather Julio Hurtado due to liver failure. Julio was not only the best grandfather out there but an amazing dad, brother, husband, boss and friend. He would light up any room he’d walk into and was loved by so many. He lost his life at just 64 years old because we caught his sickness too late. He was an extremely hard working man, never stopped working since he got to this country from Colombia. His 65th birthday is on May 20th & was going to finally retire. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks fighting for his life and left with a smile on his face. During this very difficult time for my family and I, I decided to create this gofund me to help out with his memorial & bills we are left with. Before his passing I promised him if he did not make it I would honor his name and give him the goodbye he deserved. Thank you all for your support.
