Para los hijos e hijas: uno de los grandes. Nuestro papá nos dio todo lo que la vida tenía para ofrecer. Nunca tuvimos mucho dinero, pero nos enseñó cómo vivir esta cosa caótica que llamamos vida. Nos guió, nos enseñó y ahora somos prósperos. A través de él, somos amados, respetados, tenemos tribus de comunidad en varios países y nunca sentimos que nos falta carácter. Si tuviste el privilegio de conocer a un Concepción, sabes que iluminamos habitaciones y realmente nos preocupamos por quienes nos rodean.

Para las esposas: ¡Qué hombre! Miraba a su esposa con asombro, literalmente en su último día preguntó: "¿Cómo hace todo eso Y cuida de mí?" Estaba maravillado por el amor de su esposa por él y su amor por ella. Se aseguraba de que siempre se sintiera segura y llenaba todos los vacíos que ella necesitaba. Desde que se conocieron, le dijo hace más de 40 años: "Vas a ser mi esposa". Mi mamá se rió de él y dijo que no salía con hombres viejos. ¡Mintió jaja! Viajaron a un nuevo país juntos, crearon su familia y vivieron una vida a la que todos a su alrededor admiraban.

Julio solo mejoraba con la edad. Escuchaba tan profundamente que parecía que eras la única persona en la tierra. Su sabiduría provenía de una vida vivida múltiples veces, era el Google de la familia cuando necesitábamos respuestas. Solía ser llamado el caballo porque en su mejor momento trabajaba 6-7 días a la semana. Era popular porque siempre parecía centrarse en lo que era importante en la vida, era humano primero. Ha tenido sirvientes, empleados, propiedades y autos, pero vivir sus valores y ayudar a otros lo mantuvo en favor de cada espacio en el que entraba.

For the sons and daughters: one of the greats. Our dad gave us everything life had to offer. We never had a lot of money, but he taught us how to live this chaotic thing we call life. He guided us and taught us and now we are prosperous. Through him we are loved, are respected, have tribes of community in multiple countries, and never feel like we lack character. If you got the privilege of knowing a Concepcion you know we light up rooms and truly care for those around us.

For the wives: What a man! He looked at his wife with awe, literally on his last day he asked, “How does she do it all AND take care of me?” He was amazed by his wife’s love for him and her of him. He would make sure she always felt safe and filled in all the gaps she needed. Since they met, he told her 40+ years ago “You’re going to be my wife.” My mom laughed at him and said she doesn't date old men. She lied lol… they traveled to a new country together, created their family, and lived a life everyone around them looked up to.

Julio only got better with age. He would listen so deeply that it seemed like you were the only person on earth. His wisdom came from a life lived multiple times, he was the family's Google when we needed answers. He used to be called the horse because in his prime he worked 6-7 days a week! He was popular because he always seemed to focus on what was important in life, he was human first. He has had servants, employees, properties, and cars, but living his values and helping others kept him in favor of every space he entered.
