Remembering Julio C. Munoz
Donation protected
On November 29, 2020, my brother Julio Cesar Muñoz, was taken from us. His sudden and tragic passing was one we never in a million years expected, and one that has left unbearable pain in our hearts and in the hearts of our extended family and friends. At just 17, Julio's life was only getting started. He had plans of finishing high school and going on to study mechanics, but God had other plans for him. The night of his passing, I waited for him to get home from work, but he never made it home. Instead, there was a knock at my door: his friend had received a phone call that said Julio was being taken to the hospital. My heart sank. For three hours I called every hospital in the area trying to get an answer, but Julio was never taken to the hospital, he died at the scene. He was my younger brother, but more like a son to me and I was supposed to protect him. His life wasn't supposed to end like this. He didn't deserve to die this way; he was just being a good friend. The call we received was not the call anyone expected. He was genuinely a good kid with a kind soul, he always had a way of making you laugh, he was polite and well mannered, he never said no to helping others. Planning a funeral wasn't in the plans, but on behalf of my mom, brother, and the rest of my family we would like this GoFundMe to help towards Julio's funeral expenses. We know 2020 has been a very difficult year for most, and greatly appreciate any donations that are made. You will forever be in our hearts and you will forever be my baby L.L.J
