On Thursday, September 3rd, Julio Anthony Medina left us to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a long and hard-fought health battle. He was our gentle giant. A kind, loving, and beautiful soul. His smile and laughter were contagious — he could make anyone laugh, even on their darkest of days. He was a doting dad, a beloved son, and a best friend turned husband.
Julio Anthony leaves behind his mother Jacqueline, his father Julio, his 3 beautiful children, Josiah (7), Savannah (4), and Jayden (3), his wife Maritza, and his grandparents, along with his countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
His mother, wife, and children are just beginning their long, uphill journey toward healing. Their lives as they knew them have been shattered and upended. Maritza, Josiah, Savannah, and Jayden will be uprooting their lives in FL to move back to NY with Jacqueline, in order to be closer to their network of family and friends.
This fundraiser is to help them with outstanding medical expenses, funeral/memorial arrangements, moving costs, and anything else they may need to help them on their road to recovery.
We’d like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and kindness over the last couple of weeks, and ask for continued prayers of comfort and strength for them.
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
