Hello all :)
As many know I have been struggling with several medical and health issues for several years - starting out from when I was a young child.
As a kid I initially had immune issues like chronic neutropenia and low WBC, chronic constipation, food sensitivities and unknown gastrointestinal bacterial issues.
All of which stated above represented themselves more subtly as no further measure was taken.
I began to suffer tremendously from mental health, trauma and PTSD very young, in addition to suspected/undiagnosed ADHD which spiralled into eating disorders and multiple forms of substance abuse throughout my early to late teens.
I picked up several viruses and infections including mono, strep, covid 19, chronic EBV - epstein barr virus, intestinal bacterial infections/overgrowth of several types, parasites, shingles, multiple cases of food poisoning with unknown infections causing suspected H. Pylori all of which have made detrimental and lasting impact on my gut and immune system - and already fragile ones.
Furthermore these things are coincide with other complications of my body such as malabsorption, bile flow, anemia, ulcers, chronic diarrhea with fluid loss, blood sugar & stomach acid instability, nerves and gut motility, nerve dysfunction and neuropathy and chronic flare ups of pancreas and gall bladder as we assume, which is tied to enzyme output.
Suspicion’s and further testing include exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, ovarian cysts, liver cirrhosis, bile acid malabsorption, celiac disease and more.
I am now dealing with extremely *more* aggressive types of bacterial infections and overgrowths in my gastrointestinal tract which also affects the pelvic and region, causing interstitial cystitis.
There are many risks of progression given the current state of progression and restriction I am currently in.
Some of the byproducts of these challenges are
- blood volume and pressure changes, head pressure, compromised oxygen flow, fluid retention
- chronic diarrhea and fluid loss leading to chronic dehydration
- nerve pain, burning hot skin all over body, or limbs that go numb or flimsy, malabsorption of vitamins and minerals,
- inability to eat or drink most the time (only clean liquids or celery), intolerance to fats, carbs or proteins at any given time for weeks on end leading to protein/muscle loss.
- paralyzation to the gut and disturbance to motility and stomach acid - poor bile flow & stomach acid with bacteria that feed on stagnant food
- autonomic and enteric fluctuations and dysfunction such as the heart, urination, circulation to extremities and head, blood pressure and volume, bowel movements, etc.
- compromised immunity presenting with extreme brain fog, chills & temperature sensitive, histamine issues, declination of brain function and memory, weighted fatigue, poor sleep, daily swollen lymph nodes, and more.
I am hoping to raise money for further comprehensive private testing, private doctors, stronger antibiotics, or alternative feeding/hydration pathways and stabilization, and any other tools that will help my body and I to keep moving through this at an upward pace, avoid progression and the risks involved, and take back what darkness stole from me to live life to the fullest I can.
