Hey everyone. I don't want to do this, but I feel I have no other options. I never thought I'd find myself in this position.
In March of this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully it seems to be contained to the right breast, but because of the large size of the tumor, how quick it grew, and since I'm only 41 years old, the doctors have recommended pretty aggressive treatment.
On April 30th I started this fight and underwent a double mastectomy.
This is going to be a very long, painful, scary, and expensive journey. After I am healed from the surgery we will be starting IV chemo for about 5 months, followed by 5 weeks of radiation, and then further surgery for breast reconstruction.
The medical bills are already astronomical and we still have a long way to go. Thankfully I have insurance, but I have a high deductible and they don't cover everything. Plus I am completely unable to work right now, and won't be able for a while, so I have zero income right now. Any help you can provide will be extremely appreciated and will go to pay these bills.
