My name is Juliet (they/he). I am having top surgery (gender-affirming surgery to remove my breasts) on August 7th, 2026. Although I am lucky enough to have insurance that covers some costs of the surgery, I still need help from my community in order to be able to have this procedure.

I will need to cover some costs of the surgery on my own, as well as take at least two weeks off work without pay in order to recover. I am asking for $3,000 to cover all the expenses, but any amount would help me greatly. This is something I have been wanting for a long time, and it would mean the world if you could help at all.

The opportunity to have gender-affirming care is being targeted, and it’s important to me to have this as soon as I can.
