Support for Juliet, Nick & their Family
Donation protected
Thank you so much for taking the time to be here to explore options on how you can support Juliet and Nick in this challenging season in their lives. You have most likely been drawn to explore this fundraiser because you have a big heart and compassion for challenging situations.
My name is Seriya and I am a good friend of Juliet and Nick. I know that life can throw curve balls at most of us, and what I have personally learnt is that when we feel supported in these challenging times, it can help us drop into a sense of safety and softening. This essentially eases the sense of struggle and can help in regulating our nervous system, so we are not in a fight/flight response to trauma. Of course, there are so many ways we can receive this support, but the focus of this fundraiser is to manifest the financial support for Juliet and Nick so they can be more present with the new dynamics of the challenges they are currently navigating.
Some of you may have already heard what has happened, but for those who haven't, I will share some of the backstory and practicals behind what has initiated this fundraiser.
On June 1st Juliet went into labour at 30 weeks and their baby girl arrived and has been in NICU at Mater Hospital in Brisbane. Juliet couldn't stay with their daughter in the hospital, so they had to rent an apartment around the corner. Nick has been travelling the 4-hour return trip daily with their 2-year-old son, while still tending to home life with their teenage daughter.
With so much to navigate, there has been a lot of support from close family and friends - we have been creating regular meals to nourish the family and some small donations have been received to help with covering the basic costs of extra living expenses, extra hours with their Nanny, extra costs in general. But now we are reaching out beyond just the immediate circle of support. Which is where you come in!!!!
The good news is that baby girl and Juliet are being moved closer to home, but will still be in hospital for 6 weeks. Nick cannot work, as he is supporting at home with the kids and family life, while Juliet is at the hospital with bub. There are so many outgoing costs and I really just wanted to hold the vision that this HUGE stress can be lifted from them. The vision is that they can just focus on where their energy needs to be - present with their family so they can all recover and heal from this traumatic event.
This money will not go towards one particular focus. It will be sent to them to support their living costs, childcare, therapy costs, mortgage repayments, food and extra medical bills.
I understand that there is a lot of struggle in the world, and financial times are tight for many in Australia right now, so this vision is not asking you to go into any stress or strain to help another. It is merely an invitation. If you feel you would like to support this beautiful family, it would be greatly appreciated. All sizes of donations are welcome. No matter how small. And we ask that you send your prayers of healing vibes regardless of your donation.
Thank you for listening and exploring what this could mean for Juliet, Nick and their family.
