Juliet Bennett's Family
Donation protected
As you may already know, our dear friend, Juliet Bennett, collapsed on Tuesday night, 7/19, at their home in Rochester. She was taken to Strong Hospital, where the doctors did everything they could to revive her. She had a brain clot that burst. They declared her brain dead late Wednesday, 7/20, in the afternoon. Brad, her husband, was told by the doctors that there was nothing they could do to save Juliet. With the support of his family, Brad had to make the most difficult decision of giving the doctors permission to remove the life support after confirming several times that there were no more brain activities whatsoever. Father Raymond Fleming, the Pastor of St. Monica Church, came to Strong Hospital to pray over Juliet before her final journey back to our Lord. Her loving family surrounded her. Juliet previously talked about organ donation. So that is what Brad did. On Friday, 07/22, the organ recovery surgery occurred. They procured the liver and kidneys and were on their way to their grateful recipients. Juliet died a hero! She was 47 years old.
Juliet worked hard as a CNA to support her family here in Rochester and in the Philippines. She worked the night hours, weekends and overtime hours. Juliet left behind her husband, Brad, and two young kids, Austin, ten years old, and Lizzy, eight years old. She also left behind her Mom and siblings in the Philippines, her loving cousin Malou Berg in Rochester and cousins from Toronto. Nothing could prepare us for a tragic and sudden death like this. Juliet was the primary source of support to her Mom and siblings in the Philippines.
We're collecting donations to help Juliet's family. If you wish to donate, please donate here or contact Brad, her husband or any of the BBFFL officers.
Please pray for the soul of Juliet. She was so loved by all of us, especially her husband, kids and family. May she rest in eternal peace with the Lord. Also, pray for her family, that God's peace and comfort be with them in this tough time and the days ahead. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen!
Thank you,
