Julie's Wheels!
In the last two months, my friend of over 20 years, Julie, has been in two car accidents. In each she was sideswiped in a hit and run.
The first accident totaled her car. The second totaled her brand new, replacement car. In both cases the person who caused the accident was not found or prosecuted.
Despite it all, Julie continues to live with untreatable lung cancer - after having survived major brain surgery 10 years ago.
She continues to raise her two adopted grandchildren (ages 4 and 6) as a single mother.
She continues to care for her older daughter as she struggles to recover from a life-saving surgery - a daughter who Julie adopted 15 years ago.
She continues to try and keep her small cleaning business afloat on her own.
She continues to have the most magically heartfelt, genuinely grateful, and resilient approaches to living one day at a time.
Julie needs new wheels. Let's help her!
