Keep Julie Mobile is now We! GO!! LLC. We! GO!! has a great future of positively impacting the lives of persons who use wheelchairs, and many more persons in the general population, as well.
Living as Keep Julie Mobile for the past two years has been a meaningful and sometimes introspective experience. We are grateful for the success we have achieved, raising over $32,000 to date. This is very important and we want to say thank you to those who have taken time to hear Julie's story. We appreciate your support.
As Julie Steward has reflected on her experience with Keep Julie Mobile, she has become keenly aware that she isn't the only person who uses a wheelchair and who also struggles with transportation.
Julie wants to do something about this. Transportation should not be limiting for persons who use wheelchairs. Transportation should be convenient, comfortable, and compassionate. This is We! GO!!
We! GO!! is borne of an already established outreach created by Julie in 2014. The Weekly encouragement! began after Julie participated in a class called Life Training School. This was offered by her local church.
Now, four years later, Julie is still sharing the Weekly encouragement! and this outreach has grown tremendously. The We! part of We! GO!! refers to the Weekly encouragement! and plans to be a unique and personal touch of every We! GO!! ride experience. Video viewing equipment available in each We! GO!! van will offer unprecedented concierge like amenities for We! GO!! transportation service patrons.
Life isn't just about the destination. Life is also about the journey. We! GO!! makes the journey worth it with powerful and positive, unique and personal touches for every ride.
Persons who use wheelchairs are not always confined because of physical limitations, but rather, because of the lack of accessible transportation. Where transportation services are available for persons who use wheelchairs, these services are inconvenient, uncomfortable, and are available at a tremendous cost. None of these factors are necessary.
We! GO!! seeks to eliminate barriers that persons who use wheelchairs face in many realms. They are robbed of meaningful community experience, as is society in general for not having the opportunity to interact with persons who use wheelchairs more fully. Because of We! GO!!, persons who use wheelchairs will have the freedom to experience life and community much like everyone else.
Please help this expanded new vision of Keep Julie Mobile reach countless lives by providing much needed accessible transportation (that will also be available for more segments of the general population, thereby filling all time slots and producing greater revenue for expansion of We! GO!!). We! GO!! looks to the future of expanding into your community!

Hi everyone! Thank you for dropping by this page so we can introduce you to our close friend Julie Steward, and share a crucial need she has.
Julie is a vital part of her Lawrence, KS, community and of our lives. She is hardworking, selfless, brilliant and committed to using her life and talents to serve God and others. Julie is active at her church, directs a ministry called “The Weekly Encouragement," and frequently goes to the local prison to minister to the inmates.
Our friend's life is inspiring, particularly because she does all she does from a wheelchair due to a physical disability she was born with. No disability though is going to stop Julie. She is determined to be present in people’s lives, and this is why we need your help.
Julie's car of 23 years (yes, 23!) broke down a few months ago. It can’t be repaired. The only way for Julie to have independence and be able to leave her house, without assistance, is to have her own vehicle.
The vehicle she needs is quite expensive — but for understandable reasons. There are only two models (Toyato Siena and Honda Odyssey) that can be adapted with equipment to lift Julie and her wheelchair into the vehicle. The minivan also needs a sophisticated computer system and other customized features for her to drive it. (This is a good place to insert that Julie hasn’t had even one accident, not even a scratch, in 23 years of driving, That’s better than most of us can say)! Our goal of $115,000 covers the cost of the vehicle and the special features and adaptations that make it possible for Julie to drive.
Would you consider helping us get Julie back on the road by making a donation toward her new car — that we trust will last her another 23 years.
Thank you!
