Julie's trip to the United States

It is time for me to get back to the United States! Traveling internationally during this COVID crisis has made it almost impossible for me to return to the States because getting back home to Thailand would have been extremely difficult due to the expenses involved. Well, it is time for me to "bite the bullet" so-to-speak and return for a short time. Some of the restrictions have lifted a bit making it more realistic for me. There are other situations, though, that are making this trip a priority.
As many of you know, my oldest son, Tony has been battling cancer over the past few years. He was in remission and had returned to work when it was discovered that the cancer has returned with a vengeance. He will be facing some pretty intense chemo (one round done already) and my mama's heart is to spend some good quality time with him. My other sons and I are going to attempt to be there all at the same time so that we can do some work around the house for Tony & Vanessa, and so that we can be there as a family.
I also have a granddaughter graduating from high school. I have never been able to attend a grandchild's graduation so I would love to be there for this one.
I also need to touch base again with churches and others who give toward supporting me as a missionary.
I will also need to purchase some new insurance as I am no longer able to afford the regular insurance I had previously. I must have this insurance in order to return back home to Thailand.
In a nutshell, here are my goals for this trip:
1) To spend quality time with Tony & his family
2) To visit and share with the churches who give toward my support
3) To attend my granddaughter Tonda's graduation
4) To visit other supporters and family/friends along the way.
My goal amount is: $7,800
Insurance to return to Thailand: $3,000
Flights (domestic and internationally): $2,800
Travel expenses within the U.S. $2,000
Will you help me achieve my goal? Please remember that ministry continues here in Thailand even when I'm in the States so my expenses continue on in Thailand.
I plan/hope to leave Thailand on the 1st of May.
