Hi, friends! It's me, Julie, back again. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
As you may know, during 2020 I launched back into full-time ministry (I know - great timing! haha) speaking, coaching and helping churches and ministries fulfill their mission. As a "Modern Missionary ," my heart is always to say "yes" to doors of ministry that God opens and invites me to walk through, and so I have been raising monthly ministry partners to make that possible.
This summer, I have 2 special opportunities to serve that I am calling my Summer Mission 2021!
Opportunity #1 - Many of you jumped in sponsored my Summer of serving at Camp CedarRidge in 2018. That was such a great success, that when the Camp Director called this year and asked if I could help out again, I knew right where to go!
Camp CedarRidge is a small Non-Profit ministry, that scholarships many of it's campers and relies heavily on volunteers. It's a place where kids (& adults) unplug from screens and plug into nature, friends, and connecting with their Creator. I can tell you first hand, it is a really special place. I actually went there when I was a kid, and it impacted me greatly!
I will be up at camp for most of the summer, helping to oversee the horse program, pouring into future leaders, serving campers and families, as well as leading a women's weekend. Since there isn't much in the way of a paycheck, I am raising funds just as I would for a mission trip!
Opportunity #2 - As a certified Life Coach, I have had the privilege of walking with people toward their next steps in God. It been amazing to see people go from stuck to thriving and from fearful to bold! This last year, through a God-ordained conversation, I came in touch with Healing Care Ministries and learned about their Formational Prayer training. I believe this is a next step for my ministry, that will give me some tools to help people find inner healing and freedom to be more fully who God made them to be! The cost of the seminar is $399 plus travel and lodging.
My total goal for this summer's mission fundraising is $3000
