Julie’s stroke recovery

On September 6th my sister Julie had a stroke and the medical team were quick to find and remove a blood clot in her brain. As they were trying to find out the source, they discovered a whole in her heart that eventually will have to be addressed. The stroke left her paralyzed on her right side. She received amazing care, prayers, and love from everyone that knows her and within 48 hours she was in stable condition. She has been working so hard over the last three weeks and is doing great at a very intensive physical therapy center. She is talking, eating, standing, walking a little with aids, and has regained her wonderful personality. She still has no movement in her right arm but we are hopeful and encouraged by her rapid progress in physical therapy for further recovery. These first 3 months are critical for her recovery.
At this point the financial reality of the situation is starting to way heavy on her mind. Hospital bills, out of work, mortgage payments, and care for her children seem insurmountable. It’s a hard thing to do for all of us, but we are asking for any financial support from those who are able to do so. We love you so much Julie. You got this!!
