Julie's Heart Health Fund: Travel and Care

Hi, Julie Cresswell here, finding myself in a rough financial spot due to health issues.

I need a couple of procedures done on my heart and must go out of state to have them done. My Medicare Advantage leaves me with about a $4,200 cap on out-of-pocket (an impossible number for me), plus I will need two trips to Dallas/Fort Worth from Albuquerque, and those tickets will total around $1,000. Other incidentals will crop up (they always do), so I am looking for another $2,000 to get to the other side.

I am (obviously) a senior, my Social Security is the extent of my income, and I look at these figures and see no way out this side of my dwindling plastic (at around 29% APR). I hope you can help me; every penny makes a huge difference! Thank you, my friends.
