Julie’s Health Fund

Hi my name is Rouja Green and I am fundraising for my friend Julie Bowes. Let us generously support Julie and her family during her cancer battle! Here is her compelling story:

“I, Julie, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer on July 6, 2022. My husband, Rodney, is the president of a self supporting ministry, called LIGHT (Lay Institute for Global Health Training), and an assistant pastor for Mentone Seventh-day Adventist Church. We have lived and taught a natural-remedy lifestyle for our entire married lives and in my cancer treatment, we want to continue in that theme. I used several different poultices and herbs before I had a thyroidectomy on September 22. The doctors recommend radioactive iodine, but I would like to try a lifestyle cancer program first.

God opened the doors for us to attend EDEN VALLEY in January 2023. We have had several unexpected expenses in addition to the cost of attending EDEN VALLEY, and we are requesting your help. We need about $4,500 to pay for the program, transportation to the program, and follow up care. We know that God will provide for us during this time, and we want to give our friends the opportunity to pray for us and support us financially as God leads.
