Julie's Farewell Fundraiser
Donation protected
Julie was a light in so many lives—beloved as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, partner, step-mother, and friend. To know Julie was to know warmth, laughter, and a personality that filled any room. Her smile was kind, her laugh was contagious, and her stories were unforgettable. She was a passionate racing fan, a devoted animal lover, and above all, someone who treasured her family with all her heart.
Her favorite place wasn’t a physical location—it was a feeling: a sundress and flip-flops, sunglasses on, the sun shining, and her family surrounding her. From her daughter Brie and her five grandchildren, to her parents, siblings, partner Adam, and his daughters—Julie knew what it meant to be family and lived that love fully.
In recent years, Julie faced significant health challenges. Coping with chronic pain and emotional distress became a daily battle. Despite the efforts of her family and partner to provide comfort and support, Julie—like so many others—struggled with substance use as a means of relief. It is a heartbreaking reality faced by many, and one that calls for compassion, not silence.
As we grieve this loss, we honor Julie by asking you to check in on your loved ones. Let them know they’re not alone. In her own words: “Where there is a problem, there is always a solution.”
We are asking for your support during this difficult time. All funds raised will go toward Julie’s memorial services, Any remaining contributions will go directly to support her daughter, son in-law and their five children as they travel from the UK to say their goodbyes. As many of you know, travel can be very costly.
Every donation—no matter the size—and every kind word means the world to us. Help us create the loving farewell Julie and her family deserves.
