Julie was rushed to the ER on November 4th for severe pain on her left side of her abdomen. After 7 hours in the ER and test after test, they found that her colon had a mass and she was admitted to the hospital that night. 

Over the past 5 days, Julie has had several exams and scans to find out what was going out. They found a very large tumor in her colon which pointed to cancer. After a PET scan was conducted, the tumor lit up as cancer and needed to be removed immediately. On Wednesday night, she had surgery which was successful. Surgeon called her a rockstar! SHOCKER! This woman is resilient! 

.. The bad news is that there are several other spots that lit up as cancer in her stomach lining which means the colon cancer spread to other parts of her body. 

After she heals from surgery, we will start chemo treatments. At this moment, we are unsure of how long she will need to be doing chemo and to what extent. We are hopeful it doesn’t effect her daily life. 

Unfortunately Julie doesn’t have insurance. The stress of daily financials and now medical bills will hit hard.  We have no idea what all of this will cost and we don’t know when Julie will be able to return to work.

This go fund me account will help provide for her regular household bills and will help with medical bills that are coming our way now and in the future.
