Julie's Breast Cancer Recovery

Last February, Julie noticed a lump in her breast. What followed quickly turned into a nightmare for her and all those who know and love her dearly.

In March, after undergoing a battery of tests, Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer.

In April, Julie was given the option of a double mastectomy, eliminating the need for any cancer treatment.

After several delays within the medical system, Julie finally received her procedure in July.

Unfortunately by this time the pathology came back that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and Julie would now need radiation treatment.

Having now completed her radiation treatments, Julie will have to endure a long, undetermined mental and physical recovery period, along with her third surgery in a 6-month time span.

Julie and Timo are kind people who have always enjoyed helping others but find it difficult to ask others for help. Now they need our love and support more than ever.

At the time of Julie’s cancer diagnosis, they were also trying to get back on their feet after Timo’s motorcycle accident that prevented him from working until just recently.

Both self-employed with limited resources and no benefits, Julie and Timo are facing tremendous out-of-pocket expenses for Julie’s aftercare.

Any amount you are able to contribute helps Julie and her family breathe and not have to stress about money during this incredibly difficult time.
