Julien's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Update from Julien:
I’m excited to announce that I’ve finally been accepted for NC medicaid which means I’ve been resuming PT and OT at Wake Med! Working on my recovery and incorporating movement again has been tough but rewarding. They have a stim bike
that works to stimulate the muscles in arms & legs.
To use the stim bike (twice a week) it is $75 per month.
( Not eligible to be covered by any insurance).
If you’d like to help donate to contribute to this investment I will be making for my recovery, anything helps, please use my go fund me to donate.
Thank you again for all your support and encouragement ♿️
Julien's Story:
On Saturday, June 25, 2022, our beloved Julien was in a tragic, life-altering car accident.
The accident occurred on the dark back roads of Clinton, NY. Julien lost control of his car, went off the road where his car flipped multiple times and was critically injured. As a result of the accident, Julien suffered a broken neck and severe spinal damage.
Julien is currently being treated in ICU for his injuries. Initially, he was on a feeding tube, but he is now eating and drinking independently. He is presently immobile and unable to use his arms or legs. He has transitioned from the hospital to a rehabilitation center for further treatments and care.
We appreciate and are very grateful for all the love and prayers for his recovery. Still, the financial responsibility for Julien's medical expenses, day-to-day living expenses and recovery lies entirely with our family. We are now facing a long but not impossible road of recovery with him. We understand the love and prayers are much needed for this to happen and the financial responsibility that comes with creating this quality of life for Julien.
Our family and Julien’s goal is to improve every day and make strides towards consistent improvements. Julien is seeking rehabilitative care at Sunnyview rehab hospital in Schenectady, NY and is returning home to a space that needs to be created for his equipment, continued growth and happiness.
Julien is a loving brother, son and an incredible friend to many... To Pauline (sister), Michael (brother) and Gabriel (brother), he is the sensible silly brother of unwavering love and support. Quick with a hug or joke, a round of golf or much-needed coffee. He is part of what makes each one of them who they are. To his parents, he is a light and joy that words cannot comprehend. To his multitude of friends, he is the best! Julien is a graduate of Clinton High School and SUNY Oswego. He is an international sales representative at JetNet and an attentive pet Dad to Frankie.
We are keeping faith in the forefront and truly believe that Julien (with God’s help and miracles) is going to make his recovery a reality. It’s going to be a long road ahead for our family. So, any donations and support will be appreciated dearly; please spread the message, love and prayers.
