On May 9th, Julienne Tomatoes, an iconic restaurant in Downtown Petoskey, experienced a horrible flood of 10” of sewer water in their basement. The basement was home to freezers, coolers, office equipment, tools, catering supplies, and much more. All of these items sat in 10” of sewer water for hours. They are not sure what if anything can be salvaged as a result. The Julienne Tomatoes team has always been about community first, and like others, they have endured so much over the last two years, to have this flood destroy so much just as they were building back up to business as usual is heartbreaking.
Please show the Julienne Tomatoes team that this community (both local and visitors) is here for them as they rebuild. At this time, it is unknown how long it will take to become fully operational again. They greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.
This is an opportunity to show support for the employees and the business. Any amount is helpful, and they are grateful for everyone who has reached out asking how to help.
Let’s show the Julienne Tomatoes team what it means to be #Petoskey Strong so we can all enjoy this wonderful business once again!
